Privacy policy
My Motorcycle's Service Book is a place to keep the services, spare parts and invoices of your motorcycles. This page explains what is stored, where, and what you can do about it.
What we store
- Your account: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
- What you enter: your motorcycles (name, licence plate, photo, insurance date, purchase details), services, spare parts purchases and their invoice lines.
- Invoice PDFs you choose to keep with a record.
- A counter of how many invoices you had read automatically this month, so the monthly limit can work.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud) in the European Union, in Finland (europe-north1). Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication.
Reading invoices with Claude
When you press “Read the invoice PDF”, that PDF is sent to Anthropic's Claude to fill in the form for you. Anthropic processes it only to give us the answer. It is not used to train their models. This only happens when you choose to read an invoice; you can always fill everything in by hand instead.
Who can see your data
Only you, when signed in. The database rules let each account read and write only its own records and files.
Your choices
- Download my data (account menu, top right) gives you a file with all your records and invoice PDFs.
- Delete my account (same menu) deletes your account and everything in it for good.
- You can ask us at [CONTACT EMAIL] what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your records and files are deleted at once; backups held by our providers expire within their normal cycle.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
